Athens train station
The Athens Suburban Railway connects Attica, the surrounding regions and the main cities to the capital’s centre, the Airport and Piraeus port, offering thousands of passengers the choice of an affordable, fast and reliable transportation to and from their workplace.
At the same time, the Athens Suburban Railway offer access to major archaeological sites and close by tourist destinations, offering Athens’ residents the chance for a short get-away.
Airport- Kiato Suburban Service
The service connects the Airport and Kiato to the centre of Athens and Piraeus. Part of the service operated for the first time during the the Olympic Games of 2004 and the first line to operate served transportation to and from “Eleftherios Venizelos” Athens International Airport and access to the Olympic Facilities.
The Kiato- Airport line connects to the city centre and the Port of Piraeus via the Athens- Ano Liosia- Athens service enabling passengers to reach these two points with a simple transfer at the Ano Liosia Station.
Through the SKA station – further north- passengers can have direct access to the services of the central railway axis (Athens- Thessaloniki), as well as to those to Chalkida.
Finally, by transfer on TRAINOSE’s buses at the Kiato Station, passengers can reach Patras.
