Superfast Ferries has joined forces with Anek Superfast Lines to optimize the capacity for passengers on the following routes:

  • Patras – Igoumenitsa – Ancona
  • Piraeus – Heraklion, Crete
  • Venice - Patras
  • Venice - Igoumenitsa

They will operate under the name AnekSuperfast and the same benefits apply as for Superfast Ferries.

The Bari route is jointly operated by Superfast Ferries and Blue Star Ferries, part of the Attica Group.

Please note that the route Patras-Corfu is considered a domestic route and can't be traveled with Superfast ferries.

Discounts and conditions for Eurail pass holders

Free passage when your pass is valid in Greece and Italy

Deck passage is free on all crossings. 1st class holders are entitled to travel in dormitories* or air type seats.

* Dormitories are not available on the ferries that operate on the routes:

  • Patras (Greece) – Igoumenitsa / Corfu (Greece) – Bari (Italy)
  • Bari (Italy) – Igoumenitsa / Corfu (Greece) – Patras (Greece)

Discounted passage when your pass is valid in Greece or Italy

Holders of Eurail Greece Pass or Eurail Italy Pass get 30% discount on the full fare rates.

Surcharges and taxes

In June and September a €10 middle season surcharge must be paid. In July and August a € 20 high season surcharge must be paid. Also € 7 port taxes must be paid per passenger per embarkation.

To book online from Superfast Ferries, please . Online booking is not possible if you have a Eurail Greece Pass or a Eurail Italy Pass.

Domestic route Piraeus – Heraklion
Furthermore as a Eurail pass holder you get 30% discount on the Greek route Piraeus – Heraklion (Crete), provided that you have already made a crossing in the Adriatic Sea routes with Superfast Ferries or Blue Star Ferries.

Travel times

Ancona - Patras: 21 hours, daily sailings (2 daily sailings every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday)
Ancona - Igoumenitsa: 15 hours, daily sailings (2 daily sailings every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday)
Bari - Patras: 15 hours 30, 1 daily sailing
Bari - Corfu: 8 hours, sailings only during the summer period
Bari - Igoumenitsa: 9 hours 30 min, 1 daily sailing

On board facilities

All vessels are equipped with facilities and entertainment options such as: A la Carte and self service restaurants, bars, swimming pool, casino, internet corner and disco. All cabin categories (2, 3 or 4 beds inside/outside) have ergonomic design and spacious interior including shower and W.C. Air Craft Type seats can be readily turned into comfy reclining surfaces. Male and female couchette cabins contain up to 6 comfortable berths and offer a more affordable travelling option. Particular attention is paid to the cabins designed for travelers with special needs.
